AM: 3x1mile repeats and 4x200's w/ pizza warm/cool. Wish i blogged reguraly cause i forgot what our times were. i remember them being good though. somewhere below 6:30... 6:25's? 

PM: 3 miles and 4 staduim hill sprints then 4x100 sprints. (equal recovery)

MARATHON! congrats to all, it was a pleasure to hand out water and occasionally throw some on your faces. Rachel and I overslept and by the time we got to the marathon we couldn't get in without consulting a police man who told us that it wasn't our year and that we should just go jump in a lake.. okay? But we were gonna let some lake jumping poe poe stop us! WE became fugitives. We parked the car somewhere between mile 26 and 25 and ran up to mile 22 where our aid station was. what..a..hill.. camelbaks with jackets was a lame idea. there was plenty of doughnuts and chocolate milk waiting anyways! anywho, even though Stoner was scared out of her pants that we were gonna get caught.. we never did! and so our journey up the hill went along. We finally got there triumphantly and later finished our run with Kaylee and Rachel H. We threw in a few fartleks too. It was pretty awesome.

PM: 3 to sandburgs, very cold. then 4x200s THEN ice bathed with the boys in the huge tub. cold cold cold. Afterwards, stoner and i were shaking so bad that we took super hot showers.. k wasn't that hot but it warmed us up a bit.

PM: REGION! AHHH. well i was gonna pee my pants. I don't think i've ever been so nervous but i calmed down as we got there. The race was hard and fast. Felt pretty good and started off well and kept up with the top few girls. The last mile or so was the hardest and there was a lot of mind battling going. The little "incline" killed and i didn't know if my body was gonna take it. So hard when coach and kaylee and them were screaming to catch the cedar girls. Wasn't happy that i didn't but it gives me a goal to shoot for, for state. It was surprising how much my legs killed and burned but i'm glad that i tried hard from the start. JP is a killer and i gotta just stick with her, especially when she's that close to me. but anywho, boys and girls took 2nd and i know we did our best and it was great!

PM: 4 to green springs. Girls plus Roberts ditched us while we used the restroom so we decided to beat them back and we risked running through an intersection but it was really safe. all the cars let us....it was our turn anyways.... but we beat the girls and roberts!!

PM: 800, 600, 400, 200, 400, 200.. pizza warm/cool. pretty good until JP made us look lame on her last 400. But other than that, the group was pretty tight. 800 was 3:00, 400: 1:22.. last 400: 1:21.. hahaha.. It was pouring too! We were quite drenched afterwards.

AM: PSYCH! no mornings for this week!!!! I actually got to be human today and get ready :)

PM: warm up, pizza warm/cool, relays 4x200. My team consisted of myself, Megan Finch, and Ali Peterson. We are the bomb and everyone couldn't handle that we won. They supposed that we cheated. It's not my fault i took advantage of the time when no one wanted to pick their team mates. Felt good except for the fact that cause we were so dang fast we didn't get much of a recovery so i was pretty died by the time we ended. but good work out!

PM: 1min, 2min, 3min, 3min, 2min, 1min... equal recovery (kinda) and 10-20 sec of sprinting.. something like that. Packed with Rachel and JP and felt good and strong. nice work out

early out at school so ran 3 out to hot nails with Janzen, super fun. wish she would've done cross cause she was more than fine on the run. Then ran 4+ miles with Mikey, Abel, and Byron. super fun, should do that more often cause they're funny kids and it quickens the runs. While i was waiting for them to run shnobkibe (sp? who knows.) i stretched and did the usual amount of striders and they were taking too long so i just ran to them. fun fun fun.

Kaylee picked me up early early in the morn and we drove over the course.. which wasn't marked and it took us forever long to figure out.. and then we raced! We were just standing around the starting line and all the sudden someone blew a horn and everyone just ran off so we had some catching up to do. There were a decent amount of hills so i'm counting that as my hilly run for the week. Kaylee and I ran up to the front and we kept a good pace for the next 3 miles and the veiled hat we had to wear bugged the heck out of me so i chucked it at some aid station.. i hope they didn't mind.. The dixie girl ran it too and we're not sure if she knew it was a 10k or not... hopefully she didn't think it was a 5k. Anyways, stuck up with Kaylee and felt fast and pretty good then Kaylee ran off and i attempted to keep the same good pace. Legs started hurting from the runs from this week so i could've done better if i prepared for it better but my body was tired... plus the bride i was running for wasn't even there so it was just a weird race. Happy i got to spend time with Miss Kaylee though!!! She got first by a long shot and some marathoner ladies passed me up on the last mile.. bummer. Ran a cool down later with Kaylee and found out that they don't time things well... It said kaylee got a 40 something but her watch said 38ish.. so i'm not actually sure what my time was. But good experience for my first 10k! I think i liked it... next a marathon? haha.. nah!

(warm up) 2000 Time Trial + 2x1000 I, 3min rec, w/ Harts warm/cool. 2000 was a 7:14 (3:27 first 1000), then i got 3:29 and 3:48... Miss Ali killed it! I'm glad to know that she'll be pushing me as much as i'll be pushing her. But hopefully I'll become mentally stronger by then so it won't end up being anything like my last 1000. Cool down, pretty much every muscle in my lower limbs hurt and were tight. Probably should stretch and roll out like i should've after the 10k the other day..
